Last weekend Mike and I went to San Diego to celebrate my birthday. It was a GREAT weekend! Mike used the word "magical." I think that is a pretty good word. It was so nice to have a WHOLE weekend away from work and studying. We very rarely get a WHOLE weekend to ourselves. We jetskied the San Diego Bay, ate gilatto (better than ice cream), biked around Coronado Island, and had a nice dinner together in Old Town San Diego. After dinner in Old Town, we went to a coffee shop and then for a stroll, talking between sips of tasty mochas before walking back to our hotel as a nightly display of fireworks was going on. The next morning, we jogged along the bay before hitting the mall and heading home. It was FUN, FUN, FUN!

Unfortunately, we didn't take our camera with us on any of our outings, so this is the only pic we have from the weekend.
