Mike and I spent a day at Coronado Island in San Diego (pics below) last weekend. While strolling along, we picked up some information about a race coming up next weekend to raise money for colitis and Crohn's Disease research. We decided we wanted to do it, so we'll be doing our second 5K race together next weekend in San Diego! We are so excited!

We have a THING with scurries--we're crazy about scurry rides!! So, we rented one at Coronado Island last weekend. This scurry ride was exceptionally romantic, because we got to scurry along the San Diego Bay. There was lively Caribbean music playing as we scurried passed the Coronado Island Marriot (reminded us of our honeymoon). We laughed and laughed while we peddled/scurried along together, waved and said "hi" to people scurrying past on their scurrys and bikes, and just had lots of fun. It was a great day! We ended the day by visiting a nearby scenic cove and then had dinner at Olive Garden (thanks to our friends Carlen and Jennifer). {:0) Here are some pics from our day out (to see a still picture, click on the spinning one you want to see and then press the "x" to go back to the spinning slideshow):
