We Are Back!!

We are back in California after our honeymoon in St. Vincent and the Grenadines! We arrived in Orlando on December 28th, made the long-distance track crosscountry to California December 29th - January 1st, and Mike jumped back into the madness of medical school on January 2nd. Tanya has been getting settled in to her new home and starts job hunting today!

Married life is GREAT!!! We don't have any wedding pics back yet, so no posts about it yet. Here are some pics from the honeymoon, but we'll write and post more later when we have a chance. Click on the '+' or '-' to speed the presentation up or down. Move the cursor over a pic to read the caption.

On day one in the Caribbean, we woke up early to catch a plane ride to Union Island. We took a small prop plane, and Mike had a pilot's view from his seat. Then we took an all-day boat tour to some of the Grenadine islands. We ate on the boat and then snorkled and swam at three different beaches ( Mayreau, Tobago Cays, and Palm Island). The beaches were phenomenal, and the water was an unbelievable blue! Day two was Sabbath, so we woke up early to have breakfast, go to church, and then have lunch with some of Mike's family. We had dinner by the beach at our hotel in the evening. Day three, we toured St. Vincent on foot and then spent some time at Breakers (local beach) with Mike's brothers and cousins. We spent Christmas with family and then took a ferry to Bequia on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas). After spending a night in a charming little inn in Bequia, we met some family in downtown St. Vincent for lunch and then went to the beach for fish and breadfruit over the fire at Rowacu beach. We spent our last night in St. Vincent at Granny and Grampa's house before Uncle Ensley drove us to the airport.

Two questions. Aside from the Capt. Yannis trip, which is very nice, how did you like St. Vincent? You can see my blog at http://svgb.karleklund.net.
I don't have good pictures of the Grenadines in
http://svg.karleklund.net; could I borrow yours (with credit, of course).
